Getting to know Dolly…..
Prior to a real estate career, Dolly was a homemaker and a teacher. Auburn University is her Alma Matre as well as her deceased husband’s, Leon Flowers. Dolly and her husband returned to the Gulf Coast area in 1968 and opened Brentwood Animal Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. She has two children, Jeff and Shelly, and a daughter-in-law Lisa who are also Auburn Graduates. So, “War Eagle” is a common cry at her home.
Over the years Dolly & her family were active members of First Baptist Church of Pensacola. She & her husband served on many committees & worked with the youth for many years. Today however, Dolly is a member of Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church in Gulf Breeze, Florida. Another favorite church that she attends in the summer is Worship on the Water at the Flora Bama on Perdido Key, FL.
Dolly is involved in many community organizations in the Gulf Coast area as well as in Baldwin County in Alabama. She served on the Board of Directors of First National Bank of Baldwin County. Dolly contributes and is involved in many Local & National Charities such as Children’s Miracle Network, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Auburn Scholarship Fund, Tigers Unlimited, and Cancer Research.
When Dolly is not working she enjoys traveling the most! Some of her favorite past times are walking on the beach or hiking in the Colorado Rockies. She also enjoys spending time with her two grandchildren Jordan & Walker & her two black miniature schnauzers Gracie & Cami!
